Ladder support / development status - on hold
27th July 2008
Support: Average delay of 3 weeks to reply to emails. Please use the forum where someone else might be able to answer your question.
Issues Database: This is currently offline whilst the drupal module is updated. Please post enhancement requests and bug reports in the forum for the time being.
Development: Partly on hold - Am currently trying to juggle far too many things and I have to face the unfortunate reality that as much as I would love to get the next version out, I simply don't have the time. Realistically I am unlikely to resume programming until winter 2008 :o(
Please see this thread for news. UPDATE - AM making a few tweaks to an interim v0.9.x version. More soon.
Downloads: v 0.7.9 is stable(ish) and v 0.8.2 alpha should be handled with care. If you are upgrading make backups of all files and databases as there are no guarantees. Download from Sourceforge.

Too bad! But great work.
Any idea when 0.8.2 might be released? I'm thinking about starting a ladder for my club, but I Think a couple of the features that are currently set for 0.8.2 are essential for us.
Thanks!

Hmmm. I'm determined to get this done before June. I could send you the beta version if you want?
Matt
Great!
Wow. Sounds terrific, and thank you.
That timeline would work perfectly for us, actually.
Thanks!

Drupal Module?
Would this easily be converted into a Drupal based module?
Drupal Module - yes
Yes - it could certainly be done and I have thought about it a fair bit previously. I find drupal back end quite complicated and it would take me a long time to learn how to integrate the module. I also think it might cause some problems for people who want a simple installation without all the other drupal stuff to learn. There would of course be considerable benefits in having the security, user management, CMS etc built in. Maybe I will give it some more throught.
If there are any drupal developers interested in collaborating ...
Joomla
I'd prefer it to be integrated into Joomla! But.. Drupal is terrific as well :)

Do you have plans to release the new updated Ladder software soon? Is the 0.8.2 version available for download, and is this new version stable?
Cheers.
