Run ladder seasons

Request received - run ladder as seasons with ability to wipe results
1)freeze the ladder for a short time, It is playoff time...which means... I do not want changes in the standings to occur, or challenges for that matter.
2. I would like to then wipe the database clean and start a summer ladder ( to be followed by a fall ladder ) ( Three seasons per year )... is
